Image manupulation

Editing in photoshop

Photoshop is basically the ultimate creative playground. It gives you everything you need to turn a regular photo into something totally surreal, polished, or just straight-up magical. One of the first things people usually dive into is image manipulation. This includes stuff like layer masking, which lets you hide parts of a layer without actually deleting anything—super handy when you're blending multiple photos together. You’ve also got tools like the Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, and Content-Aware Fill to clean up imperfections or remove objects entirely (goodbye random trash can in the background). And then there’s the Transform tools—you can resize, rotate, warp, and even mess with perspective to make everything fit just right.

Now, color grading is where the real vibe-setting happens. You can play with Adjustment Layers like Curves, Levels, and Hue/Saturation to tweak the brightness, contrast, and mood of the whole image. Want a cinematic look? Try Gradient Maps or LUTs (Look-Up Tables)—they’re like Instagram filters but way more powerful. Tools like Selective Color and Color Balance give you even more control if you’re trying to get super specific with your tones. And let’s not forget blending modes—these can totally change how one layer interacts with another, which is great for adding light leaks, textures, or that moody film feel.

One of the coolest features for getting weird (in a good way) is the Liquify filter. It lets you push and pull parts of an image like it’s made of clay. You can use Face-Aware Liquify to subtly adjust facial features (or go wild if that’s your thing), or use tools like Bloat and Pucker to create exaggerated, fantasy-style effects. You can even use Dodge and Burn to paint light and shadows directly onto your image, which adds depth and drama like nothing else.

There’s more, too—like using the Brush Tool with custom brushes to paint fog, smoke, or light beams. Smart Objects let you scale and edit things non-destructively (super helpful when you change your mind a lot), and Camera Raw filters give your image that rich, high-end polish photographers love. Whether you're going for dreamy, editorial vibes or trippy, conceptual art, Photoshop gives you all the tools to bring your imagination to life.

 Human Figure Selection

I took both the pictures from the internet and using Adobe photoshop, I merged the two faces together.
We learned this in our class and practiced it our selves as well.

I also tried to put makeup on her.

Photo manipulation

Since Umbrella Academy is one of my favorite seasons of all time and Klaus, I love Klaus. So I knew I had to do something related to it.
Since Klaus an immortal who can talk to ghosts. I gave him a little makeover according to his character.
I used these pictures:

I used different editing techniques while making this piece.

Human Body Manipulation

I used the liquefy tool to manipulate this photo.
I defined every part on her body including her legs, arms, belly, waist, neck, face, chest, everything.

Image And Text Based Masking

I created different clipping masks and pen toots and eraser tools to achieve this.
